If "North Sea" in Europe was changed to "German Sea" by war and force by Hitler just early 20 century, Would England and neighboring coutries agree? The direction "North" is nothing to do with "direction". It's just called historically.. not by direction. The issue is that after the surrender of Japan's World War II and end of annexation of Korea, the legacy issue have not been completly cleared yet. The name of the sea is one of them. Korea is NOT challenging global standard.
