David Cameron explains that Britain faces a clear choice between Labours plans for tax cons now and tax rises later, and our plans for fiscal responsibility and permanent funded tax cuts.

Why is this speech so late in the day? Is it that you don't have any real different ideas, or any ides of your own for that matter, it's just wait and see what the public thinks and then go with the flow

  • Cameron warns of 'pain' in cuts

why does someone like me - whos struggling hard enough have to suffer even more to get this country out of a mess i never got it into and have never / will never prospered from ?

life in the UK has always been an existance for people like me, not a living

people around the world think all the british live well and comfortably

    how very wrong they are

  • David is great and accurate. He needs to be more optimistic about his plan and explain more the cost of tax increases.

  • david camerons speeches are great! i can't see brown making a speech ike that!

  • You must be daft.

  • the shower of shit we have we've had for the past 12 years shows that they are uncapable of runining the country. how can running on the amount of debt we have, is a sustainable way? canada and australia haven't had to bail out banks because they have had the pleasure of having a fiscally conservative goverment.

  • And you all talk about debt as if its a new thing, if you forget, before new Labour were in power, Conservatives inherited them 18 years of debt.

  • Can all you ignorant sheep who jumpy on the band wagon and just critisize Labour for every petty mistake that Cameron points out, not just get a grip and stop being so ignorant.

Yes we are in tough times, but just because they complain and point out petty mistakes of Labour, doesnt mean the Tories know any better.

  • i wish david all the luck in the world.
