A song so brand new, Radney was still testing out the phrasing. Of special note is the way Hal Ketchum just waded right in with a hallelujah chorus, Beth Nielsen Chapman right in his wake, and Gary Nicholson riffing like he'd done guitar solos on this song all his life. At the Bluebird Cafe on 10.2.2008.
I wish more folks appreciated his music. Angel Flight??? I was driving back from East Texas and had to pull off the road, I was crying so hard.

Met Rad at Joe's in Chicago last night (Oct. 29) and not only put on a great show but he is just a super guy!

We are going to see Rad in Chicago next month. The greatest thing with this clip is how great it sounds without needing to have blaring music to cover weak vocals. The vocals carry the music. For someone who never listened to country music until 1995, I have all of Rad's cds and he's as good as it gets!

Just saying what we all know, Hal Ketchum is the man. Love the new Rad disc.

Hey Ann, thanks for posting this. It's definitely infectious - I broke into chorus at one point, too!
