Ron Paul may have not have won the presidency, but he's won the hearts and minds of anybody who has stopped to logically exam the issues. Not to mentioned ignited a generation of people to the cause of true liberty. I'd call that a year well done.

I'm with you, but it is still an uphill battle; considering all of the college kids who are continually indoctrinated. When I was in college, I would give speeches and presentations espousing Ron Paul's ideas and my fellow students and the professors would look at me like I was from another planet. And now that they feel vindicated with Obama's victory, questions will not be asked about the repercussions of his socialist policies, until it is too late and the damage is done.

I agree with you except for the healthcare issue which is back door communism. Why not let the free market decide health care costs instead of setting up another huge government agency to waste money on overpaid employees & to create death panels to decide who lives & who dies?

In an online poll conducted at the same time as the Iowa straw poll Ron Paul won 44% to 16% his highest scoring challenger. How does he stay in office? Are you not aware how corrupt the political system is? Do you think ever? What ever lacks of your historical knowledge, regarding the bureaucrats of the political order of the empire, as Ron Paul has been 30 years or so, care far more about themselves than about anybody else and are sold on respecting that and power.
