I ha the good fortune to see Mr. Brendel play his final concert ay Symphony hall in Boston last night. It was without reservation the most beautiful playing I have ever heard. The final piece was the Schubert Sonata B-Flat Major D.960. That was played with such heart and emotion. A true comunicator of the mind of the composer.
