@16shogunelitegreen the legendary mothman of West Virginia was, in fact, described as a gigantic black owl with red eyes in its chest. There was a similar monster in another location referred to as owlman, too.

@MrQarren that was stupid, and use commas and periods. otherwise its just one long sentence with no breaks, idiot
-
@deanw1958 so they found one, measured its height, weighed it, had it kill everything, and clocked its speed? seems legit
-
@MsCrazyHailey I'm afraid there was already an owlman so the dude that named it flipped a coin for mothman or Justin Bieber's wig. I'm sure we are all glad to was tails.

i have always been seriously freaked out by mothman ever since i was 7 & got a book called the encyclopedia of the unexplained & there was this really freaky ic of it.

@MsCrazyHailey it looks nothing like an owl to me.
pink eyes? wings with pink feathers?? bird-foots?! damn this is no mothman any more

@TheErkis28 For some reason, making the body entirely black made the eyes come out pink no matter what shade of red I set them on, and you can't make those a color without feather-tips taking on the same color in spore.
Mothman's feet were never described, but the rest of it was always described as owl-like.

Can you please tell me why they call it mothman if it looks like a big owl? Im just confused at that part.

@MsCrazyHailey Just for fun really, a reporter came up with the name after the first "sightings." A moth does look rather owl-like too, though, when you look at its face :)

That looks nothing like mothman is described as.

@blockland3214 This is exactly how Mothman was described, actually; as an owl-shaped shadow with huge glowing eyes in its "chest" and no head.
