Sonny With A Chance - Tawni With A Fan (My episode idea)

Debby Ryan's hanging-out-with-fans tweet inspired me to come up with this episode for Sonny With A Chance. At first I was thinking about writing an episode for it for one of the shows I came up with, but then I thought it might be more fun to use it as an episode idea for Sonny With A Chance.

When I read her tweet, my first thought was "that's so awesome of her to do that" and my second thought was "what if something went wrong." Something like a fan spending money to get to the meet&greet, with no money to get back. So, I decided to work it out into a SWAC episode.

The episode features the main SWAC cast (Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Doug Brochu & Allisyn Ashley Arm, and guest star Debby Ryan. This would only be right because it was her tweet that inspired this episode.)

Episode synopsis:
TAWNI WITH A FAN
All the So Random cast members are hanging out in the prop house. Tawni asks them what they're doing that weekend. Everybody's either busy, or they don't want to hang out with Tawni. She decides to go on Flitter and ask her fans if they want to hang out with her.
The next day, the meet&greet is great. When everybody leaves, one girl stays behind. It's Savannah, a girl from Seattle who doesn't have any money to get back.

Chad will be home alone for a week the next week, but he doesn't know how to do anything, like cooking, laundry or cleaning. Sonny invites him over to spend the weekend at her place, where she'll teach him all he needs to know. In the middle of a cooking disaster, Sonny's doorbell rings. It's Tawni, with Savannah. Sonny doesn't want to help clean up Tawni's mess, but then Chad comes to the door to see what's taking so long. When Savannah tells him he's the greatest actor of his generation, he agrees to let her stay.
While Chad is busy re-enacting scenes from Mackenzie Falls with Savannah, Sonny tries to contact the girl's parents/find out when a bus is leaving, etc. The parents are mad at Sonny, but they're coming to get her.

B-story:
Zora is sick, but she decides to stay at the studio because her mom's weird remedies will only make her sicker. So, Nico & Grady are taking care of her. Zora takes advantage of them, but for some reason they do everything she asks.
After dropping Savannah off at Sonny's, Tawni goes to the studio and hears everything Zora made them do. She helps the guys get back at her by over-nurturing her and treating her like a baby.

Later, Chad, Sonny and Savannah arrive at the studio too, where Savannah's parents will pick her up soon. Her parents thank Tawni and Chad for the great day their daughter had, but they don't thank Sonny. Chad promises to cook a great meal for her to make it up to her.




In the tag (last scene after the story of the episode already ended), it shows Chad in the kitchen, and everything is a complete disaster. He serves Sonny a plate, but it's so bad you can't even see what it is. Sonny doesn't wanna be rude, so she takes a bite. So does Chad. They make horrible facials. Chad: "So you wanna go out for pizza?" Sonny: "Yeah let's go."

@mimzi97 I don't really have a plan on getting it out.. I was thinking of tweeting it to Debby Ryan 'cause out of everybody she seems to read fans messages the most. But I didn't make this expecting it to become a real episode (even though that would be so cool of course), but I just had this idea and wanted to share it :)

Demi's probably getting out this weekend, and I'm sure (well I hope anyway) she'll return to SWAC... but I hope she takes her time and doesn't rush back into work.

This is great. I actually think this could be a real episode!! If only Demi hadn't quit but she's doing great and you should send this to disney.

Love it! Usually sitcom moments aren't as played out and as long as your scene (Well, reading it and conceiving into time to film felt long), but I really enjoyed it! Keep up the great stories!!
