I am against healthcare. This man bothers me for one reason in that he was an executive, did his 20 years and cashed out. What we need are executive/s with morals like this guy to stay and reform the company/ies from within. Congressman and women were going to vote on the healthcare bill they never read because of party affiliation. They are no better than execs. No morals and the devil has freedom to roam.

That guy isnt an Executive with morals, he's a Former Executive who ignored his conscience while behind his desk. Now he thinks he's going to hell, but I bet his religion unfortunately allows him to repent after his pockets are lined. There are no Execs that care less about Business and care more about doing whats morally right. To u tell the truth I probably would have done the same thing. whether its the govnt. or the Pvt. sector somebody will still get Fucked. :(

He quit after he got a dose of realit at the county fair ground health care fairs.

That's when he realized just what this country is really going through with health care. Before that, he was ignorant of what was really happening. He saw health insurance as a commodity, not something that was affecting humans. A lot of people do. I don't fault him. Simply because he has realized what he stood with. If he retired and went on his way, that would be one thing, instead, he decided to speak out.

If government-run insurance is inefficient, then how ill it run private companies out of business? Dumb conservatives just keep repeating the BS they learn from FOX, and lack the common sense to investigate further.

@maximouni it is so difficult to understand for you these companies only think about the money? well, it's your problem if you don't want a universal public healthcare system, as we have in most of European countries. It's just as simple as to pay a little extra tax fee every time you recieve your income. My father needed surgery in the eyes; it was for free in a public hospital. As he's retired, medicines are free for him. Just a small extra tax fee on every income, remember. It's your health.

wendel why don't you donate your blood money to some needy people, instead of writing a book for more. Better yet, donate your liver, kidneys, spleen, lungs, legs, arms, skin, hear...oh no not the heart, its untransplantable, it seams to be still beating but it has been blackened and choked up by past abuses. The only way to redeam yourself is to give away all your money then get sick.

Bravo, Wendell Potter! The government, megacorporations and megachurches are, as usual, keeping the public in the dark about the suffering their practices have caused. Crimes against the people have always been hidden by elites in positions of authority. In the U.S. alone they've spent billions on propaganda. The narcissistic freaks try to rewrite history, assuming their "inferiors" won't catch on. I've dealt with many as an RN and child welfare advocate. Nothing's sacred to them.
