Ready for some Spring Cleaning?
If your PC has a bad case of the Dust Bunnies, it's time to buckle down and clean them out! Dust and debris buildup traps heat inside your computer case, which can hurt performance and eventually lead to hardware failure. We know, the PC in the video isn't as dirty as most, but... you get the idea!

Speaking of hardware, why not pop in a few upgrades after you're done cleaning? Paul will walk you through the four simplest hardware upgrades: Video Card, Memory, Optical Drive and Hard Drive. Remember to check your motherboard and power supply before you purchase the upgrades, and head over to our EggXpert forums if you'd like a second opinion:

  • Just curious, if you have a very hairy arm, will that cause greater static electricity?

  • @haytotheden

Exactly...when "techTV" went away nothing worthwhile replaced it G4 was and is a joke.

I wish Newegg would get together with a cable network like Discovery and develop a dedicated technology channel that actually had LOTS of REAL DIY stuff like this!

Part of the reason I'm dumping cable/sat TV is because there is very little worth watching out of hundreds of channels.

  • Dude i love the casing...^ ^

  • He pulled out that Ati 4870 and I was like woa duuuude!

  • @Buttfuckbysquirl yeah i just bought an haf 922 and it is so easy to use. it was very easy for me to install parts into. if you are building a gaming machine then you really need to spend some money on a case. this case has a lot of holes and it has a lot of mounts for different size fans, power supplies, atx and micro atx motherboards, and it has a lot of legroom for the psu cords. it is easily worth $150 like some other cases but it only costs $100. best case I have ever had.

  • @Buttfuckbysquirl Yeah it is.

  • @Xxd3cayxX and..i switched from TigerDirect because NewEgg doesnt charge sales tax in TX!!! Saved me $30 on a new GTX560 448 core 1280MB video card! But neither site sells DDR28500 memory very cheap :/

still, great tutorials, keep em up!
