This is gonna happen again. Remember that steam pipe leak in New York City. The bridge collapse in the twin cities. The power outage in 2003 in New England. It's just going to get worse.
@artamnesia maybe it is some kind of pet container to put them in and take them to the doctor or stuff. Here in my country gas cans look different and to me this looks like he is saving his pets
Notice the light purple streaking above and below the bright parts of the flame. I believe this is image smear from excess IR (infrared). Normally IR is blocked by a filter in the camera, but in this case there is extreme heat and very high IR levels. With the right equipment, by testing this specific camera and comparing the footage, you could probably measure how much IR there was from the flame (in any case, obviously, a lot!)
I guess the guy thought he'd better get his gas away from the fire. Seems like a bad idea to be going from a fire with gas cans. I'd laugh, but this whole disaster is not so funny.
can you imagine what hell is like? i am sure that alot of the people that were present here on this day though that it was hell on earth.

I guess the guy with the gas can felt it was nothing and didn't care for that big ass fireball.
