Freedom's Song

I wrote this song at a time when hope for a better future for our country seemed dim at best, but I wanted very much to believe it was not yet dead. On the heels of Barack Obama's electoral victory, I know that all the world's problems are still there, but for once, I feel as if the American people have the power to stop the hemorrhaging and begin to heal ourselves and the world.
