Employees must realize that when and if they witness fraud, safety violations or health hazards and then belive they are doing the right thing by reporting it, either to their superiors or goverment agency, 9 times out of 10 you will suffer retaliation from the employer as I did from mine. OSHA WILL NOT help the employee-rather, OSHA makes the victim follow a maze of time consuming and meaningless stall tactics to have the agency side with the company in the end. Waste!

Yes but too often whistleblowers are retaliated aginst egregiously until they are emotionally and fiancially devastated. Being locked up injustly or premature death no retaliation is beyond some State Governments' reach.

Excellent!!! We need oversight & protection for all of the heros that come forward with fraud, illegal activity, corruption and abuse in our workplaces. Brave & moral employees should be hailed as persons that save the US taxpayers money, protect the enviornment and rid corruption that is out of control in our society especially in government & corporate America. All whistleblowers should be allowed to have a jury trial.
