Aion: The Tower of Eternity

Sometimes its hard to solo a mob, not just because of the one or the other weakness but sometimes unwanted people butt in.

Video from the korean live version of the game.

Aion has a lot of differences than other mmos, thets why we should call it the "big epic one" :)) And dont waste your time to compare to wow..:)

  • rofl.

  • it isnt rly better as a cleric..

  • 6 pedal ... lol

  • Da best game of da world:

    1-Lineage l

    2-Aion

    :P

  • People "assisting" is actually rather a large issue in Aion..one of my beefs with the game actually. The person who does the most damage gets credit for the kill, even if you've already "tagged" the mob, and even if they don't get credit they still get xp. I had a horrible time doing some quests as a Chanter because there were so many DPS around also trying to do the quests that could out DPS me.

  • he said that he's trying to solo this elite mob but the guy helped at the end, making it NOT a "solo" play video. so he redid it

  • yeah I played FFXI for 4 years... time for a change...

  • Ok, I obviously can not read Korean. What seems to be the issue with other people hopping in and helping down a mob? I know under WoW terms the XP awarded is to who ever tagged the mob as well as loot, but I also know that the amount of Xp is decided based on damage done, preventing powerleveling too much. What is the issue with this and Aion, as the video description has me wondering?

  • Just want to add this: WoW actually stressed my hardware WAY more than Aion did in the Chinese Beta and produced fps lags ... so Hardware is not really a valid arguemtn, since most ppl that can run wow half-decently on their machines can do so with Aion :)
