I love the Virgin Mary she is my favorite saint , her humbleness purity, and Love for God is admirable.. She also loves Egypt and have appeared in 1968 In Zeitun and in 2000 (asyut) in a tranfiguration on our churches.. Sha3b Masr bey7ebek ya maryam, yalla ezhari we nawari wemli elobna be ma7abet allah.

@AegeanKing Right, Orthodox believe that God kept Mary from sinning during and after the Birth.. but She was In-need of Salvation just like us and she was not Co-redeemer or co-Saviour.

@itzarelychurr Peace of Christ, I am Orthodox Christian and we don't believe that St. Mary is born Sinless that is only Roman Catholic Doctrain that all Orthodox Churches (Jerusalem, Alexandria, Constantinople and Antioch) reject. If she was sinless she would be born without separation of God (ie be born in Heaven) but since she was born here she inherited the separation from God as a human due to the Sin of Adam. And although Pure and chaste she needed salvation just as much as any Human.

Paace be with you, i love your comment but i just want to correct you on something. Since Mary was conceived without sin, she did not became a Saint but rather was born a Saint. For instance for those who are to received the Confirmation is not apropiate to choose Mary as there Saint for that same reason
