We sang this Hymn at my mum's funeral. It was so fitting and there wasn't a dry eye in the church.

We sang it at a mass to celebrate her 90th birthday 3 years ago. She was so touched by it, she kissed the hymn sheet.

@keith4291 - Yes, I watched the broadcast online and couldn’t believe my ears. The whole collection bar 1 are a waste of space. If I had to chose it would be Mary Davis.

Whoever gets in to the nice little earner will have an hard act to follow. The last two women Presidents were really great, especially Mary McAleese (and Dr. McAleese) whom I’ve met officially on a number of occasions.
