@kepicturewoman: They do the work of their wealthy masters, but they fight to get the votes of their constituants. If it's anyones fault, it's LAZY voters who will not study their candidates record and select the one doing the best job, but selecting the one doing the most for them (or, appearing to do so by making promises). Also to blame are those who DO NOT vote at all! We, the People have gotten the government WE voted for. Few of them write, except to complain when they don't get theirs.

No one asks our representatives to take a pay cut FIRST! For years, they've cut programs that support citizens and then turn around to increase their salaries and funding - why aren't we challenging that? If they have any integrity at all - should that be their first action?
