Darjeeling (Nepali: दार्जीलिङ्ग is a town in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is the headquarters of Darjeeling district, in the Shiwalik Hills on the lower range of the Himalaya, at an average elevation of 6,982 ft (2,134 m). During the British Raj in India, Darjeeling's temperate climate led to its development as a hill station (hill town) for British residents to escape the heat of the plains during the summers.

Its Nepali Speaking People not Nepalese. Nepalese means the citizen of Nepal.

I liked the presentation but for one little fact left out. Darjeeling, Sikkim, Bhutan, Arunachal Pradesk, Nagaland and Baltistsan were once actually part of Tibetan empire. Indeed still today Tibetan culture survive in most of these places. Darjeeling is actually Dorjeeling which means a Estate of Dorjee. Sherpa, Tamang, Gurung, Monpa and Drukpa are racially and culturally tibetan people living outside the sphere of tibet today. There is strong emotional bond between tibetans and these people.
