This is definitely an interesting idea, as it is the very same social networking concept as Facebook, but provides college students a niche SNS to use. Research strongly proves that teenagers and college-aged students do not use Facebook primarily for business or academic purposes. So, you've given them a tool to use a Facebook-like tool for those that DO WANT to network with others online.

I'm interested in hear how this evolves and succeeds. Great idea.

I think it is important to embrace social via this platform. A problem I have had with online learning it can be very lonely. This bridges that gap and allows classmates to have a clean responsive interface to connect to each other.

Whether as a distance, online only service or alongside campus based learning, I think this is a great idea.
