@guitarmaggot Or the more common scenario, when the original RX-7 motor simply doesn't work by design. It's moronic to keep fiddling with an inferior motor as a matter of false pride ("herp derp I worked harder to get to the same place so i iz better" logic just doesn't fly.). The smart money is on putting a capable, powerful motor in a capable balanced chassis.

@li7in6 I keep lying to my dad and saying ill drop a renesis in his '91 if I ever get it, but ill probably do an LS7 xD, more reliable, and wont go BOOM (figuratively speaking) after another 120k miles

hell yeah!

most people have v8's cause they arre more reliable then the 4cylinders or rotarys

V8 swaps seem to be a cop out for when you dont have to money or capability to make the original motor work
crappy drifting zero vehicle control... on a track that wide. this guy still spins out and goes way wide... waste of a nice ls swap

Seems to be the best way to get tire shredding torque. I'm going to put an LS motor in an early M roadster....one of these years..
