It's really sad and very pitiful how many fools on this website think that people need or want to hear the filth spew from their mouths as if they are trying to embarrass you because your trying to help someone else make a decision on if they want to purchase this drum kit here which if you think about it is pretty pointless and sadistic. You just keep rocking your kit how you like it because nobody in the world should have an opinion greater than your own.

As I said I'm not trying to impress. I'm a lot better than the playing seen in thisand my other videos. I know all the important rudiments and can apply them to the it and spend a lot of time practicing and gigging. I'd like to be better than I am, but that would require time. I'm self-taught if that matters. Though the video would disagree with my abilities, I play a couple of gigs per month and make around $300 doing so. I like to groove and keep the essential beat in songs.

@SpinalAlloy That's what i'm sayin! I bought my Tama Imperialstar to play more metal stuff, and now that i'm getting more into jazz, I was thinking about buying this one - it's a great jazz set, i'm tired of seeing people misuse it.

@DynastyPercussion its your money spend it on what you want, btw i play the exact setup, im not a jazz drummer but i love my kit, gretsch drums are just boobies

@tombrill I actually had the stock heads on it for this video, and just have the batter head around a medium tuning and the resonant head a tiny bit higher than the batter. I have since switched the batter head to an Evans EMAD head with the smaller foam in place, and it's helped control the boom and has given me a punchy sound that's really nice for rock. Without the foam, it's still tuned high and works well for jazz.

Don't play so hard on it...I want to hear some Jazz drum riffs...you can't be in a jazz/big band with that kind of volume...if you want to make some noise, get a Tama

@SpinalAlloy Wow this video is old. I actually use this kit for a folk band that sometimes gets loud. I have used it for rock and fusion styles, but I actually don't use this kit for jazz. I used a Remo Gold Crown Jazz for jazz purposes. Jazz is fun to play, but I bought this kit to use as a smaller carry-around kit which wouldn't take too much effort getting into my car.
