A (very) short and concise explanation and demonstration of the Recall Rune, along with a practical use of it.

Inspired by a late night incident of being blasted off my nether walkway by a ghast, I woke up this morning fresh and inspired and made this very brief video for those wanting to use the Recall Rune

  • i'm using bukkit, where is the disabled-runes.txt kept?

  • @Scope0Studio The root folder where your server Jar file is

  • I tried using this in the nether, and it gives me the message: "The distance to the destination is too large."

Is there something that needs to be edited so that I can use this in the nether?

  • @XxRikkixX aah, good shout, didn't realise that multi-world travel would affect the Recall rune.

To enable this, you need access to the disabled-runes.txt

Add the line "enable multiworld travel" to it and it will work :-)

I'll run up a Nether based version of this that can be done for players without admin access

  • As always, your tutorials are great! This is a wonderful use of this rune, I really want to use it for my nether explorations. I would really appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of how you got the pistons to move that one piece in the middle like that though. I've spent an hour trying to figure it out. Thanks!

  • @XxRikkixX Sure, I'll tackle that later on this week :-)
