  • it says download complete warnings will occur! why i have the card in the computer and i uninstalled the old one

  • @desmond1300 Did you check the log to see what may or may not have gotten installed on your computer? If the drivers for the video card did not get installed, you may want to try having Windows look for the drivers on the computer by having Device Manager "Update Driver Software" and point it to the drivers for your video card. This process is a manual installation of the drivers and will also allow the video card to work if Catalyst failed to install components.

  • Is the process similar for nVidia cards?

  • @1AndyMcB1 The process would be similar, but there may be more installations and more restarts of your computer due to additional components installed for nVidia. Other than that, the process is similar.

  • im new to this whole computer building thing and my computer had a Intel HD Graphics 2000 that is intergrated... could i uninstall that driver then get a AMD Radeon HD 6450

  • @garret1811 You would not want to uninstall the driver for the integrated graphics as this will only force Windows to reinstall the drivers again. You can disable the integrated graphics within device manager, then install the 6450 video card, and install the drivers for the card. If there is a problem with the 6450, you can always re-enable the drivers for the integrated graphics and still have a working computer. Have a look at all of our other videos in this series for more info.

  • @dmmadmin2 Excellent thanks :)

  • The best set of tutorials on the while of YouTube. Thanks I didn't first comment when you helped me with my old computer thanks man

  • @MultiDevan13 I do not believe this is possible as the Radeon HD 4200 is on-board graphics and the 560 Ti is a dedicated graphics card. The new 560 Ti will override the HD 4200 and disable it.

  • i have radeon hd 4200 and i want to install nvidia gtx 560 ti can i do that? if yes how???
