Given 3:00 minutes of clips from Warner Miller, I had to edit the clips, create and arrange the music and sound effects to make a convincing 30 second Warner Miller film trailer.


Watching the sample trailer, I knew that I wanted to use world music to bring interest to my trailer. You'll hear a mix of modern rock, guitar from Afghanistan, a DJ scratching a record together and chanting from Africa. I wanted music that would contrast the action. The music I chose is soft and silent while the actions are extreme and fast. Because the action is so breathtaking I wanted the music to create drama and grab the viewers attention so I did this by creating spaces of silence.


In this trailer I used several upside down and side ways clips. The purpose of this was to catch the viewers attention thus encouraging viewers to want to see the movie. I wanted this trailer to be heart pounding and draw you in.
