GROW UP if you want to be a scandal reporter then start chasing celebrities, not a power company.

I agree that TVA should have had better measure in place to prevent to coal ash spill but it’s done, it’s over. They need to clean up the mess and try to make the people it affected as comfortable as possible, and I’m sure if you people had went to the spill site and asked for water samples (like a normal person would!) then TVA wouldn’t have had a problem with you going and getting your samples, but NO you had to go and question every little thing they did and stick a camera in their face.

Well if your out trying to help people then put the camera down and help! Stop going around filming everyone and hoping you’ll make them mad by questioning their authority or trying to get around little technicalities in the law. TVA has done a lot of good things for the Tennessee Valley. Without TVA and other company’s like it you wouldn’t be able to post your little videos up on you tube or charge your little camera.

So you guys just go around harassing the cops and try to get them to slip up and misquote a law to you in hopes of filing a lawsuit and claiming your precious civil rights have been violated. I worked for a sheriffs office for a couple years and had to quit because I started hating the officers. I hated what they did and I hated how they walked all over people but you people are worse! You go out looking for trouble and claim your are out trying to help people.

"If he has a video of me and it shows up somewhere......"
Obviously the video did show up somewhere, thousands of miles away. And the video makes that guy look like one really stupid redneck loser.

Here is what happened: Matt and I were taking photos of the spill a couple days after it happened - I pulled over between some barrels and a guy in a green vest and white trucks stops behind us and demands that we leave immediately. We didnt know who he was ... we exchanged some words and then drove to the next checkpoint, where he detained us for an hour and tried to have us arrested. This was TVA personnel, not the local cops.
We were finally allowed to leave and not arrested.

Most heard response from an officer or w.e who has more then likely done something they weren't supposed to. "You have a video of me, if it turns up somewhere.. I'll-"
What exactly did he say? :P
Its crappy TVA cops--the Roane County police have not been as bad.
