The music really knows how to make us feel. When I played the game, I wanted Sue to leave the party cause i though she sucked. But when she was ACTUALLY leaving...I was sad...the story and the music really make us feel like the characters. Thats why Grandia is my favorite RPG of all time! SCREW THE NEW GAMES, WE'VE GOT GRANDIA!

@99chikens If you haven't already, play Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete, and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete for the playstation one. Lunar: SSSC is my all time favorite game. And both Lunar games were made by GameArts, the same company that made Grandia.

what was the name of the song that they played near the beginning of the game. it was right after justin and sue ran away from the mayor cause they got busted with ganz for blockign the bridge for their duel, and they ran to justin house and had dinner. it played right when they were sittign down to eat

@99chickens: I hope you read this. That is because programmers these days only care about GRAPHIC! Everything is in HD these days, so they think alllllright GRAPHIC first! story and gameplay later!

FF7 vs. FF 13: FF7 is a clear winner.

Programers need to realize that graphic is important but story line and gameplay is way more important!! What is the point of making games like FF 13 and the last remnant if the game play and story line suck??? I love PS1 the best more than any other consoles!
