Aconcagua Expedition

Unguided expedition on Aconcagua in February 2010. Together with friend Antoine Labranche I climbed Aconcagua on the normal route via the Plaza de Mulas Base Camp in 13 days. We reached the summit at 6962m altitude after 11 days on the mountain on March 6 in perfect weather conditions.

@beardelmar Thanks for the kudos, 'Bear'. I hadn't done much videography, mostly just photography, so this is largely unchartered territory for me. I'm using iMovie 11 on the Mac to create the video. The background music is the track "Chair" by Ganga. The video includes regular photos (using the Ken-Burns effect) and original footage taken with my Flip Mino HD digital camera, as well as two short clips from a high-end Canon Mark V digital camera of Pablo, a guy we met high on the mountain.

Super video, especially given the conditions. It is hard to remember to get the camera out when exhausted and short on Oxygen. To narrate takes a special effort. Well done!
