http://www.v8tvshow.com - The cowl boxes on our 68 Camaro were very rusty, so we decided to replace both using OER cowl box panels from Classic Industries. In this video, we show you the steps to removing the old boxes, sealing the new pieces with 3M Seam Sealer, and welding in the new ones using an HTP Hole Punch tool and MIG 200 welder.

  • great job on the cowl , it is like the Achilles heel of most cars i have to repair mine on my VF coupé i am happy that there are finally rust repair sections for the mopar A-bodys to do the cowl aria , a lot of time the cowl was a make or break decision when restoring a valiant

  • i am very disappointed with 3M products at the moment , i just got in the mail a 6300 half face mask and a 6900 full face mask , needing filters i called them and i was sent to a 3 party provider who never called back , so 3M Australia misses out and ebay gets my money again

:( to add to that 3M products are not that easy to find , as they are often sold under other names

  • Great Video. As usual.

  • I like your atention to detail. I would like to see the cars comming off the assembaly lines treated the same way. Good work.

  • V8TV Real not reality. That's the way we like it.
