That's not true at all. Its all about your encoding settings. I've had crystal clear video files on my computer that looked like trash on youtube.
Depends on what codecs you use, H.264, etc.
So what did you use??

This video is really nice I just might buy this camera. What were your encoding settings in vegas? DivX? What resolution?

As you know, the camcorder records in .MTS. Windows Media Player does not support .MTS, so how would i use windows media player? how did you upload this video to youtube?? how'd you change the format from .mts?

I just uploaded a video via the Everio MediaBrowser to youtube and noticed that I lost a lot of quality. I guess the conversion is a bit light in resolution. Is there anyway I can get better quality with my uploads directly from my PC? Dude, what software are you using to edit your video for this demo? Best!

Windows Media Player. I never installed Everio software. It took a long time to upload but then quality is what you see.
