Ship was dead in the water after a round went through the battery, also several rounds went through the sterring wheel so they would have been dead long before it went DIW. Then when you see water splash remember rounds dont stop when they hit the target they go through.

@Terrak16 Don't worry if some small craft run up on a LCS they will have a fight on their hands, there are more weapons systems onboard that you don't see.

Its an exercise. Your supposed to shoot right next to th target not hit it.

Very cool to watch. The uss Freedom is a gorgeous ship. However, in this demo, did the smaller craft even get hit? If there were a dozen small craft like that rushing towards the vessel, it might prove troublesome.
