why does my megatron figure doesnt lock up whenever i try to transform it to the vehicle mode?

i have bumblebee and hes a pretty cool transformer too (he the activator one shown in the video..............not that exact one but..........well .............ya no!) i just dont like how the backs of the hands are the doors THAT SUCKS!!!!!
