Jingoistic - yes, we like a bit of that in England. Although how a piece of music can be aggressive towards someone is beyond me. Art and films yes, music no!

Good performance by the orchestra. Rather a challenge to take this piece on as just about everyone in England knows the tempo of the piece and how it should be played. Well done. Yes, the brass section were very good.
One gripe for me: when the main theme is being played by the strings @ 2.33 onwards we do not get one shot of them playing. Bad editing or maybe there was a camera fault and the shots couldn’t be used. It is crying out for several shots of the strings at 3.00 onwards.
