Actually, there's no evidence of that. Apple is the company that's made proprietary formats the standard. Microsoft has ALWAYS allowed 3rd party companies to interact with their software. That's why they have an 82% market share.

It would be cheaper to buy these for restaurants, you could employ half the amount of waitresses.

You could order.. message the shef.. ask for a refill, ask for napkins..

Bad idea, who wants to hunch over a table for hours on end? Like always, no great idea ever comes out of Redmond. It's the next computing dinosaur to go after Commodore and RIM.

HAHA, this is where Apple stole all their touch screen interface ideas... it works exactly like theirs (zoom in/out etc.) but this was done ages before Apple dreamed of this. I'm amazed, no patent suit? I guess Microsoft is not THAT evil... Anyway their Surface tablet will wipe ipad off the face of the Earth.

@djbro16 Restaurants would prolly never get into this because it defeats the purpose of being a service industry. People don't like having to ask for refills, they just expect them when their drink is low. Also, they wouldn't really save money since we only make $2-3 an hour

Wow, that's nifty. I can see personal computers doing something like this in the future.
