Hier eine sehr gelungene Animation des neuen Epson Discproducer PP100, der sehr schön die Funktionsweise eines CD/DVD Produktionssystems beschreibt.

  • Gradius, TY Watershield is virtually waterproof. As far as age resistance, I have discs printed by an Epson printer from 1999 that are still vibrant and color fast. I believe that the printed discs will last longer than the ubiquity of disc readers. By that I mean that long before the disc printing fades, we will be using new media with new readers.

  • Actually Gradius0,the Epson DiscProducer is not based on the R200 paper printer, nor any other paper printer Epson produces. Instead, Epson designed a disc printer from the ground up, unlike the Primera Bravo WHICH IS based on a Lexmark paper printer. Epson formulated the inks to perform optimally on Taiyo Yuden Watershield media. The graphics you are seeing accurately represent the Discproducers functions, although clearly not its speed (runs slower than depicted).

  • This System rules! Easily over 1000 discs with one cartridge set. Amazing!

  • In my opinion and after 15000 discs: Yes, it is.

  • Is this unit better then the Rimage?

  • No matter how you put it: This machine reproduces CDs in a realistic speed: no more than 700 a week. And that's just the maximum that a CD will sell nowadays :-)

  • saw that one on a trade fair. :-) nice little box.

  • Still, isn't water and age resistant. I have a Primera Pro and I'm still trying to sell it.
