This video must have been amongst the first two dozen songs featured on Much Music in Toronto. Loved the intro. That mew-w-wling guitar chord. Loved HER! Loved her voice! Her Louise Brooks bob. So Cool. And when I first heard that lyric, 'When I See You From A Distance, She's Pulling Out Her Chair. In My Imagination, She's Pulling Out Her Hair', well, I just HOWLED! Great Song! And I agree 'Canadianhammerfist' the dancer does look like Christian Bale. A Healthy Christian Bale.Thanks for posting!

ok so its me again...I seem to be getting excited. I am amazed there is no footage of The Sharks out there.
They were musically tight and as a guy, I was just goofy for Ms. Keane. It was impossible not to be. Then I saw
this video on Much Music early eighties. Yuk. That Voice with That Band did not require dancin boys and synth. I think some record knob must have gotten to her with bad advice. They shoulda been huge.
Still I am very glad for what is here. Thanks for posting.

Not to be misunderstood here. The crowd at these shows knew what talent they were
enjoying. She was captivating, one of the coolest women on stage I've ever seen.

Saw the Sharks many times. The Elmo, Larry's Hideaway, The Edge,Upper Lip
some place on Merton where off duty cops did not care for the scent of good black hash.
Anyway, her voice really did have that resinous echo. It would shake your bowels and
tug at your heart. The guitarist was really good and they did these songs but not overproduced or treacly. Too punk for the horde and too nice for the gawd-awful purists. She should have stuck it out with her band. The crowd would have come around.
