Army medics training in Afghanistan. I receive an IV in my sternum.

IV into the bone. Intraosseous- Within the bone. Stupid fuck who said it wasn't an IV. Fucking different kind of IV dipshit.

hahaha yes its called Intraosseous (IO) and that was done all wrong. wrong angle, try 90 degree's you should have good flash back. sad thing is it takes surgery to take the needle out.

we call it the FAST-1 it is very useful when your casualty is goin into shock and you cant find a vein to stick
