  • i have had the 6000 v3 and now the 7000

they are so much better keyboards in quality an features

  • yeah they should be...i had this one, and it broke within about a week...ended up buying a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard and Laser mouse

  • how did it break? lol

  • pretty much it would skip letters i push...and the receiver was about 2 feet away....even when it was right next to it...it would do it...and yes i did try new batteries too...still the same....so i was like, forget it..no more Microsoft products for me!

  • they would have replaced it no questions asked, 3 year warrenty lol

but i can understand. g15, i saw that keyboard before, its nice, lit up orange keys but its nto for me lol

i like the skinner keys on keyboards better lol

  • Yeah i know...but i kind of needed a keyboard...at the moment...and i got a 5 yr warranty with logitech :D

  • @veca1987 heh thats funny, you gave it a positive review, now you think its a piece of garbage, which is it? anyway logitech all the way for me, though nothing against microsoft keyboards/mice have seen some good ones of both, just grew up with logitech 15+ years ago and never had a problem (pure luck i suspect)

  • whats a good HTpc keyboard and mouse, with great range?

  • friggin hate the mouse. so uncomfortable. clicked buttons are inclined up and it tips up whenever i move my hand back. as for the keyboard, its clunky. fuckin ergonomist approved? ya right. the reciever is unusually huge also. piece of crap. rather stick to logitech stuff

  • @ialyssa67 yeah its a Piece of Garbage. I returned it and bought myself a Logitech G15 Keyboard. Been happy ever since. :D

  • Oh, by the way, I suggest you get a hand-held microphone. Most of the YouTube user base uses headphones, and it kind of fells REALLY bad when you get sound on one side. And I suggest having someone update your intro.

  • I currently own this keyboard, the 6000 V3 Series, and the Logitech DiNovo Desktop Set. I prefer the comfort of the DiNovo, yet the Microsoft keyboards do not fall short at all. The 4000 series still works after 5 months, so you must have had a defective one, though I actually hate the ergonomic style (typing in a straight manner with classic keyboards since age 4 doesn't help at ALL). Most stores now sell this set for $40, by the way.
