I believe that dreams are cathartic for our brain. They purge our subconscious waste, such as people we'll never see again, or things that stress us out. Perhaps dreams are just windows into how our subconscious works, and without anything else to focus on, we dwell on the weird conglomeration of thoughts that is our mind.

Dreams are one of the greatest mysteries.. What is the purpose of dreaming? Do they have an evolutionary reason or are they just some side effect of our brains?

When I was 5, I had a dream that my dad hid...eyeballs...under the couch. It was vivid, so the next day, when I woke up.I looked under the couch, my dad saw me and asked "What are you doing?" I didn't answer, but he was very confused lol

I've had the fantastic luck to have had more than a few lucid dreams (never had one lesson!) and I dream vividly almost every time I sleep, even if it's only for a few minutes. What fascinates me is how, no matter what bizarre circumstance we find ourselves in during a dream, we accept it as commonplace. We never think to question our dreamy surroundings (or the strange residents who live there!) Fact #6: Every single person you meet in your dreams is YOU!
