Reaction From Wasilla, Alaska On Release Of Sarah Palin's Book

For the "American Dispatch," CNN's John King travels to Sarah Palin's hometown of Wasilla, Alaska, in anticipation of the release of the former Alaska Governor's new book, "Going Rogue."

Bookseller Shannon Cullip said residents of Wasilla's opinion on Palin is, "She's just an amazing woman, I can't believe what she's accomplished..." But on the other hand, "I can't stand her!"

Another bookstore owner, David Cheezem, thought "Republicans aren't that excited about John McCain" and once Palin joined the ticket, he said, "There's just no way, and I lost dramatically."

When Democratic Senator Mark Begich was pressed on whether or not he would read "Going Rogue," he responded: "I don't know," he said. "I've got a health care bill to read."

And current Governor Sean Parnell said "of course" he would read the book.

This is the very best of news.  Palin's book further opens the wounds among opponents in the Republican Party. It will remain for Chairman Rush to try and stem the bleeding. Bring it on.

Did she work with that white supremacist on the new book, too? What's most amazing about all of this is that her wealth is mostly the result of being such a horrifying VP candidate. Had she been more typical - you know, informed, reads...she wouldn't be selling books right now. Her lack of curiosity on things like Supreme Court decisions made her famous. Her base apparently likes leaders who don't know diddly, other than how to come up with ways to slander people.

She electrifies America. As enjoyable as it is to watch the liberals scramble to disparage her, it's comforting to know that their remarks against are not like oatmeal....because they have no subtance, they would never stick to her.
