An Allegro Maestoso written for 2 oboes, 2 horns, strings and basso continuo. It's an opening movement to one of the many miscellaneous sinfonias I've composed in the rococo style. Enjoy.

  • these guys say they love the music,

but what are they leering at...?

    (a splendid composition)

    though i prefer your fugues

    best regards, bert

  • @aalbert2603 Thanks. Yes, the fugues are more cerebral, that's for sure. I also think my contrapuntal music is better and more profound (much more thought goes into the making of it), but to each their own. Some people prefer J.C. Bach to J.S. Bach; it rests easier on the ears.
