One of the special Mirage Arena Battles in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix. Today we are going whaling! I'm playing as Ven on Proud mode.

TIPS:

Monstro isn't too hard but I had to split this video into two parts because my level isn't that high which means that my strength isn't that great so it took longer to beat the unversed inside monstro and beat monstro itself.

After taking the unversed, Monstro will spit you out and you have 3 minutes to take out as much health as possible. Use the barrels to stun it and when it does get stunned, attack as much as possible. Your shotlock won't work while it is moving so forget about that.

They didn't call it monstrous for no reason. Monstro does attack you. it can body slam you, tail slam you and it can even manipulate the water to attack you. Make sure you aim well with the barrels because if you launch a barrel onto another barrel on a wooden island then the island will be gone for a while.

When you enter monstro the second time, acid will appear on the ground. Walking on it will decrease your health. It rises the third time you are in and possibly the fourth time too but I have never experienced that.

MEGA TIP:
If you are using Aqua or Ventus, to whale this whale here is a mega tip for you.

When monstro attempts to suck you into his mouth, let him do so but just before you go in, use Time Splicer to deal some extra damage. He may eat you up after Time Splicer ends but that's a small price to pay. Unless you have a tiny bit of health.

You will obviously need Time splicer and enough health for the mega tip to work. I didn't have it at the time I made this video but now that I do, it really does help.

@shabaddahuha but u already had the void gear. you mean you rushed the story? becos when i versus vanitas remnant, i had already unlocked at least stratosphere.

@CODFanaticZX yeah. I played the normal version before and since i already knew the story and how the battles work, i completed things pretty quickly. I remembered how i defeated vanitas before by using the strike raid rock glitch and that's how i beat him at a low level. Took a while but it worked out in the end.
