English:

First part of my documentation of hurricane Earl as it moved just northeast of Puerto Rico a as a strengthening category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 135mph. Earl brought sustained tropical storm conditions to the NE coast of the island were i was located. Sustained TS intensity winds were also felt in Culebra, Vieques and higher elevations facing north in Puerto Rico with gusts of tropical storm force elsewhere in the island.

In this part of the video you'll see scenes of the first outer bands of the hurricane as they moved across eastern Puerto Rico bringing tropical storm force winds. Also in Luquillo the waves were starting to build higher as the storm approached the area. The video finishes in Fajardo were the winds were sustaining at tropical storm intensity at times with higher gusts at around 1:20pm. The next part of this hurricane Earl documentation in HIGH DEFINITION will be released soon...

  • WOW... absolutely amazing quality, Jose!!! Shooting tripoded footage in HD makes all the difference...it feels like I'm right there. The editing and transitions between scenes are really smooth too... overall a very professional and polished clip. And, those waves between 5:30 - 6:30 looked awesome... I can just imagine what it would have looked like if Earl had gone right over the island!

  • @vmax135 Hey Michael THANK YOU so much for the comment! I'm very thankful for all your help with the video edition techniques and HD filming. I hope we meet at South Florida in a few days if the GFS is correct!

  • @huracanado1 Glad you liked my NYC footage! And yes, hopefully the season isn't quite over just yet. All though, if a good storm could wait until after Oct 15th, I'd be much appreciative, lol. I'll be in London on vacation with my family from the 7th - 14th, lol
