Your forgetting this "Maury" was the second ship to bare that name and not the original Mauritania that was sister ship to the Lusitania and Aquitaina from the early 1900's

I don't know why sometimes Mauretania looks bigger than Olypic or Titanic!( And sometimes not)

the Mauritania and the Olympic were just victims of the Great Deepression and technology, if Titanic hadn't sank she would have met the same fate.

FDR blasted the people responsible for her scrapping, preferring her to be taken out to sea and sunk, giving her a warrior's funeral instead of being broken down for use in toilets and other damn stuff.
