My 4 new snakes. A pair of KSB and a pair of ISB. They look in very good condition. The ISB's were labeled incorrectly when I received them, but other then that, I am happy with my order from lllreptile.

Since this video I moved the snakes. The female Indian is so big I decided she should be in the 30gallon. So the ISB's are now in the 30gallon, and the 3 smaller KSB's are in the 20gallon.

I talked to the company that sold me the snakes. And was now told the female was about 1.5 years old, and the male was 3 years old. They said the male was the large one(opposite what they told me pre-sale). They said they sexed them and they are 100% sure. They said he is incredibly large for a male but almost fully grown. And the female should get up to almost his size. (normally females are larger, but they said this male was just larger than normal)... I will get them sexed again to make sure.

***Update - I had my snakes sexed. The large one is a FEMALE. The smaller one is a male. LLL labeled the snakes wrong, and continued to claim the sexing they did was correct, however, I have had them sexed(probed) by 3 small reptile stores, to find every time the large one is for sure a FEMALE.

  • hey i just got a KSB and i was wondering if i should have a heat lamp and a heat mat the bulb i have is a 100 watt bulb will that do it for him just wondering thankyou

  • @ReptileStewart32 you only need one or the other. But what matters is the temperature. You need to get the correct temperature with one or the other.

  • @ReptileStewart32 get a thermometer and check the temperature of the hot spot. Use whatever you need to achieve the proper temperature.

  • @earthling1984 if using a heatpad, measure the temperature in the sand(or other substrate), if using a heatpad, surface sand temperature can be measured.

  • i have had some bad experiences with lll reptile i have not completly turned away from them, but am considering trying them one more time.did yu find any problems with your new animals?

  • @FORGOTTEN760 everything I've ordered from them has come in healthy and have lived well since I got them. Only one mistake from them when they mislabeled one of the snakes as a male when it was a female. Other than that, they have been pretty good.

  • @earthling1984 thank you!

  • @helloperson77 kenyans stay a bit smaller than indian smooth scales. Both stay fairly small though, under 4 feet usually.

  • which ones don't grow big
