  • Catholics feel that Mary, the Mother of Jesus is very holy. The saints are just people who lived very holy lives.Mary is the Queen of Saints. Both Mary and the Saints are with Christ in eternal life. Since they are alive with Christ and not dead, Catholics ask for prayers for themselves and others from the Saints, along with there prayers. People have patron saints, such as St Rita, St, Ann, St Joseph, and even priests such as Patra Pio, who had the stigmata and performed many miracles.

  • Powerful images, praise God.

  • What a beautiful video! Well done! :D

  • I'm forgiven

  • No need to fell sorry for me. Thanks though.

  • christmoe1226: I feel sorry for you. So much belief and no evidence whatsoever.People of faith are really blinded to reality. Peace !!

  • Hope I helped. God bless. Say a prayer for me. I driving a youth group to Gulfport, MS tomorrow to help restore churches damaged in the hurricanes. Thanks. Again, God Bless ya.

  • In the same manner that Jesus served on Earth, (Forgiving sins, baptizing, etc.) he calls his apostles and disciples to serve. Since Jesus forgave sins on Earth, the successors of the apostles (priests) do the same here. "As the Father has sent me, so I send you." Some masses are still done in Latin, because it is a closer translation to Greek, Aramaic, and other earlier languages than any vernacular. Since the Mass rites, don't change much everyone there knows what is being said.

  • We don't pray TO them, as in asking them to grant our prayers. We ask them to intercede (in other words, pray for us). Going straight to God is perfectly sufficient. So is asking for help from those in heaven to pray for us (since they are with God). We go to priests to have God absolve us. God forgives us, not the priest. John 20:23 "Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained." Jesus says in verse 21 "As the Father has sent me, so I send you".

  • i have ta same doubts... i realy appreciate ur comment....
