  • Regardless of your like or dislike of particular clips or actors, be assured that we do have people from Broadway and National Tours appear in our productions. Davis Gaines, Andrea McCardle, the original Plaids, Spencer Liff, Gwen Stewart and more have called MTW home at some point. We're quite proud of our work and encourage you to see a live production here and make your judgements based on an entire performance. We're also very glad that our work causes such vocal discussion about theatre.

  • This is poor usage of the stage and poor musicality. Certain choreography and lyrical renditions should not be alter. Especially from "cats" such a legendary project and unfortunately this piece was missing the main elements of cats, which is persuasion and fierceness! I am in fact disgusted at this; Sorry.

  • @airacanaira Please feel free to submit your directing and choreography reel to us at info@musical.org.

  • People can say whatever they want; I like this performance. I feel like so many people have been ruined by the CATS movie. Yes, the film was phenomenal, but that shouldn't be the standard for every performance of this musical EVER.

  • Why is the music so fast? They are obviously having trouble keeping up

  • They are actually very good :)

  • Her cartwheel was a bit dodgy at the start!

  • I love this rendition. I even like the constant laughing by rumple and the shh by MJ.

And this show is very hard to cast. The original Choreographer said that casting was hard because they had to find good singers who were good dancers and vice versa. That is probably why some of the cast members from the original show were so young like the original rumple was 16!

  • Folks? I've seen FAR worse and very little better. If anything could be criticized, it's that she ain't able to lift him in the closing cartwheels. Other than that, it was a very good rendition.

Casting for M&J is a nightmare. Either you find people who can sing it but don't have the breath for the acrobat parts. Or the other way 'round. Or you finally have two, and then you notice that they don't work out together. Might be easier if you're big and have actors at your beck and call...

  • I haven't even watched this yet, but I will say as a seasoned performer that the majority of the comments here are rude and unnecessary. You should all stay home, you sound like the kind of audience that sits stuffily and quietly in their seats on a Sunday Matinee and doesn't even know when to laugh or clap. I will now watch the video and enjoy what the performers have to offer. Get it together people.

  • Definately not THE ABSOLUTE best... But for a local production it was just about flawless. Very well done. Maybe with a little more work I shall see you on tours

  • Not so bad for a local show. Looks like they did a nice job in the costume department.
