EDIT: Oh I just found it's been posted on Youtube by someone else! Anyway, that one is the old version. After watching the original again, I realised there are some things that were definitely lost in the remaking... but there are many things I am happier about in the remake too. Anyway, link is here:

This one is the remake:
An anime music video I made in 2002.
I love FLCL, and I love this song.
Mostly just fade to blacks and a couple of whites. I feel this is the best AMV I've made content-wise. The song and what's going on in the animation seem to gel really well to me and I feel on rewatching that the climax of the song is represented really nicely.
I don't usually have so much good stuff to say about all my videos :P
No pressure on people to like it themselves though... :)
I realise also that this suffers from the same fate of starting at the beginning of the series and ending at the end of the series... well as long as it fits :) I feel it fits well enough not to bug me too much :P
I've seen this AMV before, and I can't help but notice that there were some changes made.

@Raidenski Really! This is in fact a remake of my own video... I did the original in 2002 in more crappy quality, then having read a few guides in getting DVD quality I decided to remake it in better quality... and made a few changes in the process.
Not sure where you might have seen it - I think I did enter it in some competitions around Australia - possibly Manifest in Melb, or in Syd, or somewhere else. If you're Australian, and went to an AMV competition ages ago... that might explain it.

@birdmanilikeflying Haha, on youtube. It's still on here as FLCL, if you type it with Everlong it should be the first link, it even has a link to your profile on animemusicvideos. I saw this years ago, and I fell in love with it, it's what made me watch FLCL in the first place. Your AMV is incredible, I've never seen one so well done, and one that manages to capture the underlying nature of it all, beneath the random eccentricity. Hat's off to you, sir.

@Raidenski WTFFFFFF lol this is so bizarre. Ok well it's gotten a lot more views than mine LOL. The whole reason I decided to post videos here is because I thought they got lost in the crowd on amv.org... well I guess they get lost in the crowd on youtube even more so. Thanks for the heads up though. And thanks on the comment..
Tickles my ego so I want to make another video now... haven't touched editing for couple of years now :)
