Pokemon Soul Silver - Violet City Gym Leader Falkner

My team: Spearow Lv10, Sentret Lv10, Totodile Lv10, Bellsprout Lv10, Geodude Lv11

Here it is folks, the first Johto Gym Leader... Falkner of Violet City. He's a master of Flying-type Pokemon but he gave me a challenge.

He has the following Pokemon in his party:
Pidgey Lv9 and Pidgeotto Lv13

When you win, you get your first badge known as the Zephyr Badge which allows the use of Rock Smash outside of battle as well as TM51 which allows the use of Roost.

In the original Gold and Silver, you get the Zephyr Badge which allows the use of Flash outside of battle and he gives you TM31 which back then is Mud-Slap which damages and lowers accuracy.

Stay tuned folks cause I have a lot to cover. 1 Gym down, 7 to go in the Johto region.

Well it depends on your playstyle. For Heart Gold, I choose Cyndaqul and for Soul Silver, Totodile and from there, I work my way on a balanced team for the purpose of beating the game.

Graphics for the pokemon images are still noticeably Gameboy-ish... but as for the attacks, they're looking more and more like Pokemon Stadium 2 / Colosseum.

When you used Geodude, you should get leveled up for 2 more levels so you wont be smacked by that piece of shit Pokemon.

@RukarioAuraSphere well it depends... if ur new, u should use tododile or cydaquil but if u play alot and ur good, pick chickorite, chickorita is a challange, but cydaquil u really should pick.

u cant get many good fire types only growlithe and vulpix, theres oddish for a grass type, and water u can get slowpoke and wooper and so many more, definetly dont get tododile, theres alot more water choices

generation II Typhlosion rocked the water types with thunder punch, too bad they took away its ability to learn it.
