It's sad to see someone ruining (harsh but true) what is a beautiful & powerful form -the 108 Square form Wustyle as taught by Master Eddie Wu Kwong Yu & disciples. If you are paying this guy money I feel sorry for you. He has not been taught well, the form is rushed, stiff and incorrect in almost every way. No personal offence to this professor but after 18 months learning I could teach better thanks to the efforts of my Sifu.
As far as the movements go, this is a certain form of Wu- style tai chi. Just because this isn't the way you do it, does not mean it isn't valid. As far as speed goes, we are simply learning the movements. If any of you think Tai Chi is any one specific way of doing a form, then you are woefully narrow minded. Tai chi does not lie in the technicalities. It lies in doing, and being.
