I've always believed either:

A) Homosexuality is a choice and should be treated with the same respect as religion.

B)It isn't a choice and should be treated the same as race or gender.

Either way it's sickening for anyone to be persecuted simply for existing.

@knowamericaknowbible And you failed miserably like you do at life. What's your excuse for all the errors in this and nearly every other comment you've made? You can't spell or form proper sentences, you said you failed evolution, something taught to elementary school kids, you should have failed any English class as well, no grasp of statistics as you just make those up, but you take the Bible as fact. You are the personification of what's wrong with blind wreckless faith, and I pity you.

@CarlosMensuckass If I insinuated that everyone that disagreed with me was an athiest I didn't mean too. I don't really like to talk about LGBT christians anyway because there are so many different creed's. you could almost put them into the same category you would that guy on religilous that claims he is Jesus. I've looked at one of those sites and it's where I found out what they think of the book of Ruth. Ridiculous!

@CarlosMensuckass that's your opinion that I am twisting scriptures around. I've heard so many different varriations of what scriptures promote homosexuality it's hard to tell which ones you looking at. If you are of those that believe Ruth and Naomi were lesbians i know a pastor who could tear that idea to shreds. I'll even explain where they get it wrong in a personal message because it would be too hard to do in 500 words.

@knowamericaknowbible And I only pointed out that they were of your faith because you kept insisting that everybody who disagreed with you was an atheist, but even as a Christian you're in the minority. Most other Christians not only disagree with you, but are ashamed of you and the Westboro Baptist Church because of your strong hateful stances regarding homosexuality. You're using what you think is the Word of God to spread hate, even though in your words Jesus corrected these mistakes.

And I'm not going to go out searching for someone who can argue better than you just because you're not good at it. I could try and dispute the obvious website you got the Matthew verse from, About.com which led me to a booklet put out by soulforce, but I do not think my efforts would be very sucessful as you have stated your opinion many times that you think I am a complete idiot. There are some people on here who could probably better dispute it. why don't you send it to them and challenge them.

@CarlosMensuckass just because it is a popular website and just because it is people of a certain denomination of my faith trying to say that I'm wrong and they are right does not mean that they are right. It's a matter of Interpretation. Also you must take into account that the bible say's that there will be people who will try and distort the bible to serve their own cause. cnt.
