  • go back to see fam without that hat on, different role. different lens. and enjoy the home cooking.

  • @thepixieful Yes.

  • I took on the "peacemaker" position, too. It may have been one of the reasons I walked away, seeing all sides in all things can really be an eye-opener across the board. I guess it worked out fine, but it is a burden that can keep one from taking care of themselves as needed. Take care of yourself. Happy 17th, btw!

  • @Revolt1680 Yep, I want it to be a happy one.

  • Hello slanelcla, I was wondering if you would be able to email me so we can chat.

I was raised as a JW, and still have family members who are...

I have been going to therapy for several years and it was suggested that I make some videos, like yourself, to find others and have a support system. I am not very good with computers and dont know how to upload or make a channel on Youtube.

    My Email is williamvobornik@yahoo.com

    Thanks!

  • here is what a qualifed pro told me: Yell back.

also: you did not cause it, you cannot cure it.

    have a fabulous day.

  • first had that experience as a HUMAN, not any sort of JW experience. the behaviors of tribal HUMANS. I am glad for you that you have a partner and in laws. but these dynamics would be there if we were lutherans. change lens on your outlooks not all a JW lens.

  • P.S I learned as a kid people always saying "we are like family" but NOT so, only family is family.......I learned that the hard way. and surprise some distant family members would love to see me after YEARS......work it.

  • I was great looking and very wanted as an infant, but with time scapegoated. parents were like episodes of mad men. were children in the 1950's accessories????? I am also a bit of a hero and the star, but not always......check the psy books that talk about hero, star and scapegoat within family dynamics. school instructors will know about these books.

  • @slanelcla I wish someone woulda just told me that lol.wish you well on your journey as well, luv your vids, keep revealing truth.

  • @999Atwood Yea,to me it was the norm,Now i truly see everything for what it is Hypocrisy.Im actually a ministerial servant lol,I plan to just get a job, move out and fade away.its hard to find a freakin job these days tho.
